No one seems to be writing opinion pieces quite the way I would, so I decided to do it myself.

The name? Taverns are places where one goes to discuss the interesting events and things in the world, so this is my tavern.

I will offer my views on politics, economics, and whatever else strikes my fancy.
I will occasionally publish the entire article from another journal for purposes of causing discussion.

 

Republicans outsource Fundraising to call centers in India

I find that simply disgusting. Business Standard

OK. For American workers who are concerned that they are going to lose their jobs to Indian Call Centers, perhaps they should not vote Republican.

Bush says that the economy will turn back up soon, and the companies will start hiring. What he didn't mention was that they would be hiring in India north of New Delhi, not in the US.
